CPS has a long-standing history of providing rich activities to its members and their families. In the 1960’s though 90’s, CPS conducted picnics, photo trips from a few days to several weeks, inviting models for portrait practices, etc.
In the 2000s to recent years, CPS conducted numerous photo trips domestic and abroad. In these trips, members and/or their families can enjoy scenery, taking beautiful landscape photos, journalism photos, hands-on training on photography, and co-host photo exhibitions with local photographers. The photo exhibitions were held in various cities in China, Taiwan, Macao, etc. These exhibitions not only displayed our members world-class photographs, but also exchanged culture with local people. CPS has photo exhibitions for photographers from abroad.
After the pandemic, CPS organized a two-day trip to southern California to photograph the wildflowers. CPS conducted a 17-day oversea trip to Turkey and Greece, 26 of our members participated. CPS is planning to have a trip to four countries in East Europe this October.
While surveying our members, the most welcome program that they like is the trips conducted by CPS. Members had fun throughout the trips and took many high-quality photos as well as enjoying the local culture and scenery.
華藝活動
華藝為會員及家庭成員組織豐富的活動內容歷史悠久。從上世紀六十年代至九十年代，經常組織郊遊、野餐、出外攝影創作、或邀請模特兒作人像攝影教學及練習。
從本世紀初至今，華藝組織過多次在美國國內及海外旅遊攝影團。在美國國內的攝影團包括死亡谷、猶他州等地。美國國外的攝影團包括與中國各地的影展交流、東北、新疆、江南等地。在行程中，會友們不但能欣賞異地風光與文化，還可以作風光創作或新聞攝影。會友們也互相幫助在實地學習與交流攝影知識。
華藝還組織過多次攝影展覽，這些展覽在中國不同城市、台灣及澳門地區舉行。華藝也邀請國內知名攝影藝術家來美作攝影展覽。在這些展覽中，攝影師們互相交流攝影藝術，同時作文化上的交流。
在疫情後，華藝馬上組織去南加州拍攝野花兩日遊。今年四月至五月，又組織了十七天的土耳其与希腊旅游摄影團，共二十六人參加。華藝正計劃在今年十月去東歐的四個國家作旅遊與攝影創作。
眾多會員們認為華藝組織的旅遊攝影團是最受歡迎的活動。
