CPS Club August Bi-Monthly Photo Contest Award-Winning Gallery 2023年華藝八月雙月賽獲獎作品欣賞

In August 2023, CPS conducted the fourth bi-monthly club photo contest of the year. We adopted the definition of Photo Travel from PSA (Photographic Society of America). All entry images can be either landscape or human activities. Those images should have recognizable landmark or cultural characteristics. Adding or eliminating elements are not allowed. Cropping and minor adjustments that reveal the original scene are allowed. The file size, titling the images, adjustment restrictions are in according with the PSA definitions and guidelines.

We invited three very accomplished judges for our contest. They are President Henry Jang (MPAS, EFIAP, GAPU, GMAPS, MSSP, Hon CPE), who was awarded by PSA as one of the top-ten photographer in the world in Travel division; Advisor Yousman Hsiong (EPAS, EFIAP), and Vice President Mr. Xiao Xiao.

In this gallery, we display the 11 award-winning images, i. e. ,1 gold, 2 silvers, 3 Bronzes, and 5 honorable mentions. Congratulations to all award-winning members.

We greatly appreciate our Salon Director Jiahong Zeng (MPAS2, BPSA, EFIAP, GAPU). who had taking tremendous effort to align our club photo contest requirements with the PSA’s. We thank Vice President and the executive administrator of the this photo contest Donna Hom (MPSA, AFIAP, SAPU, IIG/s, Hon FMPM). Most importantly We thank all the participants.

三藩市華藝攝影學會(華藝)為了配合學會的發展需要，向國際沙龍標準看齊，在2023年舉辦的第四個雙月賽中，繼續引入了美國攝影學會 PSA 的比賽規則。雙月賽的比賽分類、作品尺寸與文件大小，以及評審方式與標準均參照 PSA 的規則進行。評審參照PSA的評審方式，由三位擁有國際攝影主流機構認證銜頭或國際知名攝影師擔任評審。參賽者每人可投稿四張。比賽獎項也是參照PSA的准則，設有金、銀、銅、與優秀獎。這種與PSA攝影比賽接軌的操作模式，是為會員們提供一個平臺去熟悉 PSA 的比賽，為大家將來參加國際攝影比賽做熱身和準備。

這次雙月賽比賽的類別是［旅遊组］, 主題不限，不分相機和手機組別。按旅遊组的要求，作者不可添加或刪減元素，只可作剪裁，拉直及整體微調去還原場景。旅遊的素材可以是風光、人类活動等，要求有地貌或地域文化風俗特徵。

此微刋收錄了雙月賽得獎的一金兩銀三銅五優秀共十一幅作品，讓我們一起欣賞所有的獲獎作品。恭喜所有的獲獎會員。

這次雙月賽比賽，不但依照PSA的評審模式進行，評委還應廣大會員的要求，將在華藝的 Zoom交流平臺上，對得獎作品及一些未能獲獎的作品作出詳細點評，促使攝影的學術交流，讓大家有更多的提昇空間。
